North Carolina’s Outer Banks are truly an outdoorsman’s paradise. Very often there are so many excellent outdoor opportunities that deciding which to select can be a challenge. This is especially so when it comes to waterfowling in this beautiful expansive area. Foremost of what we offer is variety. Puddlers, divers, snow geese, swans or brant can be targeted on any given day. The guide service harvests 23 to 27 species of waterfowl per season. Typically a bag of 10 ducks will contain 7 different species! Hunting in this area is sure to yield a diverse harvest and a unique waterfowling experience.
Outer Banks Waterfowl is centered in the Oregon Inlet area and boasts unparalleled puddle duck opportunities. Situated between Bodie Island refuge to the north with Pea Island refuge to the south, our blinds have proven over the past 30 years to be some of the finest and most consistent in the country.
For swan hunts, a special North Carolina swan permit is required. Visit www.ncwildlife.org follow link at left to hunting and trapping, then follow link to permit opportunities (on right side of page), then open tundra swan permit application. There is a $10.00 fee to apply and the deadline is Oct. 1.
